Ok, I finally figured this one out:
global header policy on my reverse proxy did not include 'data:' in the img-src. All fixed, along with some similar oddness in nextcloud

I'm a mid to late 30s white guy on Ngunnawal land (Canberra) in Australia, soon to be moving to palawa land (Tasmania).
I'm on the fediverse to follow my infosec friends, meet new people, learn more about solarpunk, anarchist and adjacent ideas.
I generally don't have much to say but will boost cool stuff.
Australian Census, politicians
That was a good read. Blame the pollies, as usual.
This isn’t entirely about GitHub Copilot, but it was the straw that broke the camels back. I’ve watched the world of free software (and tech in general) become twisted and perverted over the years and this is my attempt to amputate some of that rot without loosing the patient entirely.
Actually reading through https://decentsecurity.com/ It's really good.
fav quote so far:
"Why is this so complicated and not standardized? Because nerds valorize deleterious individualism." about RFC-1918 choices on routers. oof...
Any and all answers are greatly appreciated. No judgement whatsoever. Asking this for research on a WIP article:
Do you #selfhost ? If so:
- What do you host yourself?
- Do you use an existing toolchain (Ansible/Puppet scripts, Yunohost, etc)?
- Do you run it bare metal, virtualized or containerized? Which one?
Please boost if you like #haskell, niche programming languages, retro computing, or smallnet, please. I'm looking for online nerd friends.
andrew lee just seized over 700 channels on freenode because they mentioned libera.chat in their topic.
This includes projects like openbsd, wikimedia, FOSDEM, etc.
https://archive.is/uHw1g shows 720 channels that match what is being checked.
here's an example log: https://gist.github.com/pushcx/ab2a1d5b1d18e964c581ef18ccb3a79f
boost this if you care about foss in any way.
